Special Appreciation goes out to ERA for their help and assistance in flying pets to new homes throughout their service area in Alaska. The benefits ERA offers has made it possible to place a large number of pets in homes that could not have afforded the transportation fees. Our sincere thanks to all the workers at ERA for their time and friendly service.

2009

We were not able to help as many pets as the previous year because we had fewer foster homes, but we still took in 689. We adopted out 583 consisting of dogs, cats and a variety of small furry creatures.

2008

We were very busy in 2008, we took in 745 pets and completed 561 adoptions. We had dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits and birds surrendered.

2007

We took in a total of 522 pets, placed in new homes 236 cats, 170 dogs, and 2 ferrets.

Assisted pet owners with other needs such as special boarding, medical assistance, pet food, or other requests for a total of 84 people or pets helped during the year.

And of course, any pet that did not get adopted during the year is still on site or in a foster home awaiting a new family, so come on by and visit and see if we have something that will make a nice addition to your family.

The total for 2006 is as follows:

We took in 530 animals:1 Guinea Pig,1 Rabbit,5 Hamsters, 203 Dogs, 320 Cats

We were able to place these animals; 187 Dogs, 255 Cats, 4 hamsters

A great big thank you to all our special foster families and great volunteers.

For the year 2005: We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our volunteers, members, foster families, new pet owners and supporters for making this year a very good year. With your help and support we were able to help two hundred and sixty seven (267) animals find homes, find a safe haven until they can be placed, or with a special need. All of this required a lot of hard work and determination and you were a very big part.

We are looking forward to helping the community find a solution to the overpopulation of pets and we hope you can find the time and support to continue your help.

A Very Special thank you to all the wonderful people who got Project SNIP off the ground and working, it was a lot of hard work and it has paid off. Please go to our Project S.N.I.P. Page for more information.
